It was on Sunday morning. When we arrived, there was still some parking lots available by the road side. We inform the staff that we require a table for 6. We have to wait for about 3 minutes before we were ushered to our table. You can choose varieties of malay dishes placed infront of the restaurant. The service was quite fast. The place was clean. The pricing was quite reasonable. May come again in future.

Love this place! Delectable traditional Malay cuisine such as laksa Johor, lontong, mee jawa and assortment of Malay kueh. Everything is delicious!!

Unexpected detour to this restaurant. Wow, the food is really an authentic johorean food. Mee Bandung was really rich and worth the money. Had the Sambal udang petai, generous on the petai and fresh prawns. The Nasi Ambeng has some heat to it, but great taste.

Great food, nice ambience and good service. We ordered the ayam masak pedas and the pedas was not a joke but still bearable. Tomyam was thick and flavourful. Mango salad was nice too and that was my fav! Didn’t manage to try their cakes as we were already full for deserts but had the rojak and it was delish!

The flavours are authentic and well-balanced. I tried the Lodeh/lontong, and it was fantastic, and the fried chicken was crispy and juicy. The service was quick and friendly, though the ambience could be a bit more inviting. Still, it is a solid spot for anyone craving traditional Malay cuisine

Santai is a favourite Malaysian cuisine restaurant in TTDI that is always packed from early morning, setting an open buffet outside and you can queue and point out those you want and its swiftly added to your plate. There are so many delicious selectables which makes it also our kids favourite morning venue.Spich Mee hoon goreng, mee goreng, curry puffs, beef, nasi lemack, kuih sticky rice, iced limau, and others are among super tasty selections. Highly recommended for local Malaysian cuisine, specifically for the breakfast

We were heading to another popular restaurant down the road, but the flies put us off and ended up here.We were glad. We ordered the mee bandung, the nasi Ambeng and cendol. My better half said her mee was good. Spicy too!!!I thought the nasi Ambeng was very tasty although I could have done without the fermented curd. I liked the cendol too.Overall, a good meal. Bill was RM48.00.Service was excellent.
